As important members of the school community, students are valued for the contributions they can make to the school, as leadership potential is encouraged and supported. The Student Representative Council (SRC) is comprised of our school captains and elected representatives from Year 2 through to Year 6.
Examples of their responsibilities include, leading the weekly assembly, delivering special occasion addresses and votes of thanks, and demonstrating school spirit. They also select the winner of the SRC trophy, which is awarded fortnightly to the student who is able to demonstrate a commitment to living out the school motto to ‘Proclaim The Word Of God’ in the way they treat others.
Students are encouraged to take active ownership of their learning and make a difference in their community by reaching out to others: Growing their heart.
